We’re having a baby
Well, it was August 26 when Simone, my wife told me she was overdue and that she had done a pregnancy test. She mentioned that it had shown a very thin line – very thin. We decided to buy another test of a different brand. You can’t just be a little pregnant, right?!
The next test did show a similar result – a very thin line. We decided to wait 2 more days before taking the next test. We were very excited. As we had hoped to have a baby for quite a while.
2 Days came and Simone did do another test. The formerly thin line on the earlier tests now was ‘replaced’ with a more solid line. 2 additional days later we bought a test of a different brand. We knew the result upfront but just getting one additional result made us feel better.
We’re having a baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
We are very happy. We do not know the due date yet as Simone still has to see her doctor, but they do not want to see her before the 6th week anyway.
