The inlaws are coming to town
We are very excited. We had waited for this to happen for quite some time. Simone had been diagnosed with Thyroid problems a while back and according to her doctor this was most likely the reason for us not being successfully becoming pregnant.
Anyway - today Simone’s parent would arrive from Germany. They did not know anything about this yet and we discussed what we want to do. Should we tell them or not. Would they be upset if we would not tell them? We decided to tell them - even if we had only the home pregnancy tests as proof. But what about our other relatives? Alright. Alright. We called my parents and told them. They were very excited.
In the afternoon we left home to go to the airport. Simone’s parents would arrive around 6.00 PM from London in the UK. It took them about an hour to get from the plane and to go through the US immigration and customs before we could welcome them. We did not say anything yet. But while driving home Simone told them.
I don’t think they really realized what she just had told them. It was a long day for them and we did not talk about it much further that day.
