The vacation
Simone took her parents onto a trip to San Francisco, California. She had called her doctor before departure just to make sure she would be allowed to travel. No problems. She also made an appointment for the first checkup after being pregnant and to have confirmation that we indeed would be expecting a baby.
We both were completely excited about being pregnant. We still could not really believe it.
Simone was feeling just fine. No morning sickness or throwing up. Her mom could not understand that Simone was doing so well. She (the mom) had had lots of morning sickness and that stuff when she was pregnant with Simone. Simone’s Dad still did not really believe it. He needed proof.
Anyway - the 3 flew out to SF while I stayed home. I used the quiet time to order some books on pregnancy and having a baby as well as I ordered a new set of cell phones. We had only one cell phone at that time and the plan had expired a long time ago. I wanted Simone to have a cell phone for the time of being pregnant and so I ordered a T-Mobile family plan with 2 free Nokia phones.
