Dinner with friends
We went out for dinner with our friends who came back from Canada. As they had not had any spicy food for several months (Do Canadians do not eat spicy food?) they want to go to a Mexican style restaurant. Deal. The Haciendo of Colorado near Interstate 25 was the perfect location for Dinner. We got a nice table and chips and Salsa were being served. Everyone had a good time. They were telling us all those things they did during summer. I don’t even remember how we got to the topic, but suddenly Simone let out the good news. “Oh, by the way - we are expecting a baby. We’re pregnant.” - Boom. For a moment it was quiet. But then our friends got really excited about it.
They congratulated us and said they were very happy for us. There was no doubt - they really meant it. Our little concerns were like blown away. We knew they did not wanted to have kids themself and having some of their best friends now having a baby - it had worried us a little bit. Well, not anymore. The evening continued and we had a great time. It is good to have such great friends.
