We have been to the OB again today. Normal 4 week check. Everything looks good. We also had another chance to hear the heartbeat of the ‘little one’. My own heart was beating like crazy during this moment. I am still thinking about buying one of these home devices to hear the heartbeat. I am still getting goose bumps while writing this – just remembering this moment …..:)

We asked the doctor about his recommendation for the hospital that we want to choose for the delivery. We currently have 2 hospitals to choose from. I called one today to make arrangements for a tour.

Simone and I worked our way through the benefits stuff of my employer today. Holy cow – that stuff is getting expensive – even without having the baby yet on the plan. We’ll loose at least another $100.00 a month compared to my current income and compared to the current amount we have to pay for the health insurance. Once the baby is there it goes up even higher …. . I will put more time into my own business to make up for the reduced income from my full-time job.
