Well, we made it to 15 weeks. Every day without a problem or concern gives me more relief. Simone is doing fabolous and I am very happy for her that she is doing so well. There will be other times ahead and so it is good that she won’t have 9 months of ‘suffering’. I guess for seeing her belly every day it is hard to notice that it is growing slowly every day. Still – it is fascinating to me to kiss that cute belly every morning and to greet the baby.

I went and bought new tires for the pickup truck today. As Simone drives it almost every day she feels much more secure now. The old tires weren’t that bad, but winter is ahead of us and that little extra rubber on the tires can make quite a difference between sliding and sliping or having a safe drive to and from work.

I looked at those heartbeat monitors for home today. I guess we still have some time before we buy one. They are recommended for week 24 and up. But they have mixed reviews, too. I’ll have to do more research.
