Like a rock(ing chair)
We went to Babies R us the other day to look at Rocking Chairs. There are quite some nice ones out there. But these things can get really expensive. So, we went to the (local) Burlington Coat Factory store. They have a huge baby stuff department – including furniture. They’re rocking chairs were not as nice as the ones at Babies R us. Back to Babies R us but we just could not decide which one to get and we left. The next day we went shopping at the Wal-Mart Super Center. And they have a rocking chair model for sale, too. The showroom model fit our baby room furniture perfectly and so I lifted it from the shelf (why would you place a ‘chair’ on the top shelf if you want to sell it?).
The rocking chair and accompanying Ottoman were really nice. Comfy and soft and it just seemed to be of good quality, too. We looked at the price tag. Wow. What a difference. $84.95 for the chair and the ottoman?! The cheapest combination we had seen somewhere else was $229.00 at Babies R us. This chair here would do it just fine for us now. We did save quite some money this way. So, if you are still looking for your rocking chair – check out the one at Wal-Mart (they have only one model in 2 different colors though).
