We had dinner last night. Cheese Fondue. About 30 minutes after dinner Simone felt really sick suddenly. Her stomach started acting up. She took a Maalox but that did not help. She decided to go to bed early hoping that sleeping would help. I helped her to bed and went downstairs to work on this website. I heard her getting up and running to the bathroom. She had to throw up really bad. That was not good. I helped getting back to bed and then got a few more bottles of water for her. I did not wanted to take any chances. She would have to prevent dehydration. Simone agreed on that part. I stayed about 15 minutes at her side and helped where needed to feel her comfortable again. I went back downstairs. A few minutes later she had to vomit again. She went back to bed. It must have really hurt. She could not even lay straight down. I gave her a few pillows to make her sit comfortable on the bed and covered her with the blanket. We discussed if we should get her to the hospital or at least call the doctor.

We decided to wait a little longer. I went and took the dog for a walk. When I came back Simone was in the bathroom again – throwing up again. I was really getting concerned now. I went online to find information about this but nothing really turned up. The only advice I found was that if she was not able to take any food or water within 24 hours and not having to vomit again she should see a doctor. We decided to wait through the night. I got plenty of water for her.

Simone fell asleep about 2 hours later and got through the night Ok. She felt very weak in the morning and so we decided that she should stay home. I made her a small breakfast – bread with a little tiny piece of butter only. She was able to eat and to keep the food inside. She was hungry and asked for more. Hey, I was very happy to see her eat. She started feeling a little better soon but I made sure that she stayed in bed for a few more hours. We made it through the day and by this evening Simone was able to have a regular dinner. I counted the number of bottles that she had emptied since her last visit to the bowl last night into the morning. 8 bottles of water – each 16.9 oz in size was the result at 10.00 AM. Poor girl.

Anyway – our little baby seemed to be Ok. He was very active overnight and through-out the day.
