Today was Easter Sunday. We had a busy day that ended with a nice dinner at friends place. Ham, Potatoes, Corn, Salad, and Carote Cake. The kids were involved into an indoor Easter Egg Hunt due to weather conditions not permitting this to be done outside. Last year we had temperatures in the 70’s – today we did not make it out of the 40’s and it was raining, too.

Things were easy at first, but once the Easter Egg Hunt had started it turned into a competition like at the Olympics. We had to “re-hide” some eggs that we took out of some baskets as the little competitors got too much involved and lost track of the fun. Oh, well – it all turned out to be a fair game in the end. I did not get running today and so I have set a goal to go running tomorrow. I am a runner and make it 5-6 times a week to go for a run (5-6 miles each).

Anyway – Easter Sunday 2009 turned out to be a nice day overall. A good reason to celebrate, good friends, good food, and family all around.
