Choosing a pediatrician
March 17th, 2005All pregnancy books recommend to visit a pediatrician before you have a baby. These books recommend to interview the pediatrician and find out if the chemistry between you and the pediatrician matches. Well, we did just that yesterday and that felt really weird. We walked into the practice of a pediatrician yesterday – with no child. Every mom in the waiting area looked at us really strange. “What do those people with no child want in here?” – we could read this question from their eyes. But when they realized that we were pregnant it seemed to help. We let the receptionist know that we had an appointment and got asked to sit down for a few moments. A mother with a 2 year old was sitting next to us. She broke the ice by asking if we would know what we were expecting. She was very friendly and we chatted with her for a while. Her little one was very active.
A really cute child with a really nice name: Hunter Lewis
